Junior rugby starts at U13s and goes through to U17s. A full team of 15 players, with 7 substitutes, play on a full size field. Lifting is allowed in the lineout from U16 on.

Teams play in the Herts/Middlesex League competition over the course of the season. The league consists of 3, 4 or 5 divisions in each age group from U13s through to Colts. Saracens are currently competing in each age group with an U15 B side also competing in Division 3 of that year.
